The American Library Association Annual Conference is almost here! We can't wait to see our customers and have many exciting things to share. Here are notes about what we'll be up to at conference:

• Visit us at booth #5217 - we'll have fun giveaways and you'll be able to meet our co-founders and some of our sales and support staff.

• Try out a GoLibrary module. Our newest product featuring a library materials vending solution.

• Sign up for our Fall Reading Program for librarians sponsored by Evanced.

Here is a list of conference events that we are participating in:

• Friday July 10, Christine Ayar will be presenting at the Emerging Leaders Poster Session (Time and Place To Be Announced).

• On Sunday, July 12, Rob Cullin and Kim Bolan Cullin will be at the LITA Summer Reading Online! session at 1:30 PM (McCormick Place West-W-178a).

• On Monday, July 13, co-founder Rob Cullin will be participating in the LITA Public Library Technology Interest Group session from 8-10 AM (Palmer House - Spire Room).

It was a small advertisement that led to big changes in the way Prince William Public Library System (Virginia) managed the 3,600 plus teens in its summer reading program.

Thousands of Summer Reading Participants – One Easy Solution

While flipping through a library periodical, Cathy Chang, Associate Director of Prince William Public Library System, saw an advertisement for Summer Reader – the web based summer reading management software from Evanced Solutions. After emailing Evanced and later attending a webinar, Cathy purchased a software subscription for her library system and her summer reading program took a new and improved course.

“We tried to create our own software program [in-house],” Cathy explained, “but it was clunky and staff intensive.”
